Sgt | BBA 2014
I cannot express properly how grateful I am for this program. It has helped me leverage the skills and experience that I have gained from the military, into an education and subsequent civilian career. Our troops have sacrificed a great deal for their country and part of this sacrifice includes their youth. One of the chief strengths of the Legion Program is the accreditation of previous military service, which in turn cuts down on the time required to get a diploma or degree. I believe that a national expansion of this program will empower more transitioning CF members to get an education and explore career options they never thought they could.

BCIT's reputation precedes itself. So when my colleagues and upper-management learn about my education and background, there is trust and confidence in my department that I can do my job and more. My job in HR - Recruiting doesn't stop here though, once I graduate from the Degree program, I plan on minoring in Psychology and Commission from Ranks (CFR) to become a Personnel Selections Officer in the Army.

Sgt | BBA 2014
Before deciding to go to school at BCIT I was working primarily with the reserves in both full and part time rolls. I graduated from the BBA program in December of 2014. Since then I've continued to work with the reserves in a part time roll and am currently searching for employment in the private sector.
